Ingvild Schultze-Florey is a Norwegian Mezzo-Soprano currently based in the UK. She graduated Master of Music with Distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2019. She is a recipient of numerous awards and prizes, most notably the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra’s De Unges Konsert award for outstanding young soloists.
She made her operatic debut as Mercédès for Bergen National Opera, and her international debut on the concert platform as soloist in Beethoven 9 with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Edward Gardner.
Future engagements include the role of Cherubino in Ensemble OrQuesta and Hastings Philharmonic's production of Le nozze di Figaro.

Master of music
Ingvild is delighted to have completed her Master of Music in Performance with Distinction at the Royal Northern College of Music.
She is incredibly grateful to her teacher Susan Roper for her continuous guidance and to the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) for their generous scholarship.

Ingvild is enjoying a close relationship with the professional vocal ensemble Edvard Grieg Kor in Norway and is looking forward to perform both solos and in the ensemble in Edvard Grieg Kor’s performances as part of Bergen Kirkeautunnale.
