Mezzo-Soprano
Ingvild Schultze-Florey is a Norwegian Mezzo-Soprano currently based in Berlin, Germany. She graduated Master of Music with Distinction from the Royal Northern College of Music (UK) in 2019. She is a recipient of numerous awards and prizes, most notably the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra’s De Unges Konsert award for outstanding young soloists.
She made her operatic debut as Mercédès for Bergen National Opera, and her international debut on the concert platform as soloist in Beethoven's 9th Symphony with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Edward Gardner.

Ingvild was thrilled to be performing the role of Cherubino in Ensemble OrQuesta and Hastings Philharmonic's production of Le nozze di Figaro, and hope to revisit this role in the near future.

Ingvild is enjoying a close relationship with the professional vocal ensemble Edvard Grieg Kor, under the baton of Chief Conductor Edward Gardner in Norway. She is looking forward to perform with them in an a cappella concert this autumn in Bergen, and to perform alongside London Philharmonic Orchestra for BBC Proms in August 2023.
